Ben Veness is a doctor, writer and mental health campaigner. He is also a former president of the Australian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA), and is training in psychiatry.
Ben was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2013 to research the critically-important area of university students’ mental health. He now presents regularly on the topic of university students’ mental health at conferences and other events around Australia.
He also writes extensively on the topic of mental health, and has been published in The Huffington Post, The Sydney Morning Herald and Medical Observer.
